It's been ages since you went to the salon for some pampering and "me" time. Every woman needs to this every now and then not only to make herself feel better but also to boost her self confidence especially when she sees an improvement in the way she looks. Honestly, you can ask every woman that they feel better with a new haircut done by a professional from a reputable salon.
Getting Emotional
A lot of women who are undergoing an emotional breakup tend to go to a salon to get a haircut. They actually say that they feel better with a new haircut to break free from their old self. You have seen this many times not just on common people but celebrities like Rihanna who sported a Mohawk hairstyle after her breakup with then-boyfriend Chris Brown. For these people going through these emotional times, getting a new image with the help of a simple haircut can do great things. They feel that they are leaving behind all the drama connected to their old self and starting a new life with a new look. It definitely helps them feel better with a new haircut to sport.
Coming out of your shell is another way of looking at it. People who have been so used to being treated in a way try to rebel and assert themselves by getting a new look. It is a way of rebelling from the stereotyping that they have been suffering from without being violent. They say that change happens as soon as people see them sporting a different look. What way than to have a new image to change the way people see and look at you and the best thing is that it makes you feel better with a new haircut.
Indulging Yourself
The only way you can feel better with a new haircut is when the aftereffect is something that looks good on you. If you are not sure on what kind of hairstyle fits you, you can start by studying your facial structure. Knowing your face shape will really help you in achieving that perfect haircut. Once you know it, you can read magazines on hairstyles or go online to check for those that fit your shape. It helps if you can show a picture of the possible hairstyles to the stylist before starting the procedure.
It is good to indulge yourself once in a while by going to a reputable salon for a haircut. Going cheap does not necessarily equate to getting good service. You can say that hair grows back but it takes quite a while to bring it back to its old state. You definitely do not want to suffer from bad hair day everyday wouldn't you? Not unless you want to amass a collection of hats, scarves and beanies to cover up your hair every time you go out.

Everyone needs to learn how to fight winter's skin itch. Ignoring the problem of dry flaky skin does not make it go away. In fact, leaving skin defenseless against the dry cold air of winter can result in severe skin problems, because the skin is the first barrier against bacteria and virus invasions. When skin gets too dry, it becomes itchy which makes scratching feel good, but only temporarily. Scratch long and hard enough and the skin is damaged even further.
There are many cases where people scratch so hard trying to find relief they cause welts or even bleeding. This is a sign the outer layer ofskin has almost no moisture in it.
Fighting winter's skin itch requires preparing to do battle against the cold, wind and low humidity. It means taking up arms against the very things that bombard your body through thewinter months. You can create a fortress which prevents winter skin itch.
* Don't shower or bath in excessively hot water, * Don't shower or bath for longer than 15 minutes, * Apply moisturizer immediately after the shower or bath, * Use a heavy moisturizer that's oil and cream based to prevent moisture evaporation through the skin, * Apply moisturizer twice a day if necessary, * Avoid products containing alcohol, * Soak in herbal bath up to 15 minutes which contains skin coating oils to restore skin moisture.
Just like in any battle, you cannot let your defenses down for a moment. If it's windy outside, wear enough protective clothing to shield theskin. You should never go outside in the winter without moisturizer. Also, moisturize your entire body using a facial moisturizer specifically designed for facial skin.
